Patana Gallery is a gathering space for architects, designers, and artists at Rangsit University, 30 minutes north of Bangkok. It is a 3-story, 1200-square meter building with galleries, meeting rooms, a library, instructor offices, and a green roof.

Because the building acts as a main artery to classrooms and lecture halls, ideas of movement and fluidity directed our design process. A skin of double-layered powder coated expanded steel mesh lightly envelopes the building. The resulting moire pattern moves as you walk through the space.
