2 identical porcelain vases / 6" diameter x 10" tall
digitally-traced cracks, green latex paint, and mylar / 312" x 172" x 126"
Two identical vases were shattered. The broken pieces were collected
into a pile, and each vase was reconstructed using pieces from itself
and from its identical twin. Although the two reconstructed vases are made
of the same genetic material and are forever linked, they will never
be identical again.
Subsequently, the cracks in the mutant vases were digitally traced,
projected, and painted onto the surface of another vessel.
