Simple bowls and cups were made by playing with the nuances and
irregularities of slip-casting techniques. The inherent flaw of a one-part mold is
the uneven rim, which was left uncorrected to bring attention to the inherent
beauty of imperfections. Fundamental to this work is the suggestion that
individuality and mass-production are not mutually exclusive.
