This project sought to advance explorations and understandings in
architecture through an atypical decrease in project scale and a radical
increase of working scale. The charge was to minimize representational
models and finite drawings and to develop concepts, ideas, and solutions
in a full-scale, real-time environment. The authoritative role of the human
condition, the limited terms and facilities, the complications of fabrication,
and the limits of industrial supplies all served to influence and inform
the act of making.
The task was to design and fabricate a hypergeneric workstation apt
to accommodate if-then scenarios.
